Busy Busy Busy

Well Jan was abit of a nightmare month - Seems like it was for a few people i know. So i wont talk about it any more.

Feb is super busy for me. Off to Helsinki on Weds till Sunday then im around 90% sure im going to play the UKIPT in Manchester from 10-14th Feb. Later in the month I hope to play the 220E Betfair comp in Vienna (19-21st) and finally going up to Nottingham to see old uni mates in the last weekend of Feb! I'm going to try and fit in playing some FTOPS events in the midst of all of this - should be fun!

Good luck at the tables. I don't think it could go much worse than Jan!

Calling Station

Been a while since I updated this blog. I've made the decision to play 6-max cash again. HU is a dying game on all sites right now the way things are going. No one will play anyone else and its a bit of a shame. Trying to convert back to 6-max didn't work too well for the first two weeks and I dropped a lot of buyins with running bad and making stupid calls when i KNOW i am beat. It's been a lot harder than i thought trying to convert back. The games are much tougher than 12 months ago (when i last played 6-max). I feel like I've been pushed to my mental max in the first 3 weeks of this year. First time I've faced such a downswing in a while.

Going away to Finland again next week for 5 days with old Uni mates is always nice - a little break away is overdue. I'm about 90% playing the UKIPT Manchester but I will know for sure on the 1st/2nd Feb. Defo going to play the side events if I can. I always enjoy a live event once in a while but it aint half slow!!

NYE - Newcastle/Boro

Flying up to Newcastle today so see some old uni mates for NYE. One lives in Boro so going to spend a couple of days there too should be fun but everyone speaks funny up north!

No news on the poker front...basically haven't played a hand since DTD event. I'm not great at settting goals and keeping to them but I will have a few things I want to do in 2010 so will list them here when I get back.
